Sarah says:
Today my wonderful mother-in-law came over to help me sort through a bunch of stuff that needed sorting and lifting and moving - all things I can't do very well at the moment! I kept my kid busy by making a fashion show inspired by Project Runway. Look very carefully and guess what the assignment was - what the theme of the fashion show was. I designed all the clothes myself with the help of my daughter. We didn't hire anyone to do the sewing. Actually - there was no sewing at all - just loops and loops of fabric tying itself up like that 12 outfits in 8 thingy I have described here before that they used to sell on TV.
I am happy to report I didn't take any pain killers today because as usual, they were tearing my belly apart. I am in quite a bit of pain but I have more range of movement back - still can't fully bend but I'm getting there. This will pass. I will be fine. And once again, it's so nice that people have been calling and writing and checking in with me. I very much appreciate it and feel very cared about!
My daughter had a great time at Chiro camp by the way. She gave it a 12 on a scale of 1 to 10 and she says she wants to go again next year and eventually be a camp leader. She's off again tomorrow to go stay with my friend JVK at the sea, the lucky kid! For two nights and three days! This kid is having a fabulous summer. I wish I could say the same. But there are still a few weeks left, which could turn out to be great fun if and only if this dang back pain goes away...
