- Heidi and Sarah Face The Day
- About US!!!! Heidi and Sarah are two friends, colleagues, neighbors, would-be- lesbos-if-only-we-were-attracted-to-each-other-and-woman, nim-wits, ding-dongs, obsessed and self-obsessed camera hauling idiots who can't leave moments behind so choose to capture them on film. Heidi is from Wervik and likes to change her hairstyle a lot. She is a DJ and swing-dancer among other things. Sarah comes from New York but has lived in Kortrijk long enough to know a thing or two about it. She sang in a band called Greyn once upon a time and her Dutch will always sadly suck. Good thing Heidi and Sarah speak the same language: the laguage of "me!me!me!"

Wow, Sarah, you must love that dress--you've been wearing it for 3 days! ;^) Seriously, it's cute.
And hi JM & DM! Hope you're all having a lovely visit together, though I can't imagine it could be more enjoyable than ours was last summer.

Ha ha! I'll tell you why I have been wearing it - because there's more to it than the fact that in Belgium it is quite common and okay to wear the same thing all week if you want to - which is better for the environment as it cuts down on washing and all that (washing machines are smaller here than where you are). But here's the real reason - until Tuesday I had very, very hairy legs! I could have shaved them but that would have ruined the sugaring I have been getting to reduce the shaving and amount of hair... I had to wear pants therefore during the hot days here. I have only one pair of really thin pants so I wore those each day. Those pants looked okay with that "dress" (really long shirt) you have pointed out and before that I had the orange and red and white shirt I was wearing everyday. Because it was so hot, I did wash the pants in between the hot days... JM and DM are now gone. We had a great time! It's almost time for your trip! I wish we could see you! Next time! - SRA
