We took advantage of the sunny weather and went to Poëziezomer in Watou. It was a calm day. Good to be out and about and walking around. My back was still aching but walking felt better than sitting and lying around so I'm happy we went. We saw some good art and some not-so-good art (if you ask me - but taste is taste..) - one exhibit was by Yoko Ono with about 50 glass bottles filled with water. On each bottle there was a name of a famous person, from Fidel Castro to Sylvia Plath to John Lennon to Queen Latifah. The exhibit was called something like "we are all water". It was nicely laid out and throught provoking. There was a lot of video art as well, set up in old barns and industrial places. I have seen this kind of thing before. Some things catch your eye and others don't. The sun certainly captured me today! And the donkeys below did too! Isn't that photo below of my daughter with real donkey ears a great one! And look how in love the two donkeys look below. It was nice to be with my little family today. My back was aching, which is worrying me a lot if I'm going to be honest about it - BUT - it's not the only thing on my mind. My only worry is that this ache won't go away. I hate the idea of new examinations and all that. I simply want to will the pain away and not have to think about it. If only...
