Thursday 29 December 2005: Heidi and Sarah don't give a fuc* about anything today and furthermore they look like hell and Heidi feels like hell...

29 December: Heidi won't stop complaining -- for days already. If it's not this it's that! She feels ill. She's not in the mood for anyone or anything. She's nagging and nagging and nagging. There's no stopping her. Best to keep your distance from her for another day or two! Sarah, on the other hand, doesn't feel like crap but continues to look like it. The extra pounds and kilos are starting to show up in her fat head and he skin is rough and reddy! Here's a game: count how many spots Sarah has on her chin! Luckily, she feels all right and even happy. Next to Heidi these days, that's not hard. Even a little crack of a smile is way more than our Heiditje can muster up.

Heidi says:
I have such a cold! It's irritating me. It's making me a nagging asshole... So thinks Sarah, giving me the finger! Thank you Sarah! You're such a pal!

Sarah says:
In this angle, you can't see my fat face. But I assure you, eating too much during this time of year is not at all a good thing for my mulle! Thankfully, as of February, eating shall go back to normal. You just have to give into it at this time of year. Why struggle and not enjoy all the good stuff! I can't wait to eat lunch and dinner today! I can't wait for my New Year's dinner and then the leftovers the next day! I shall embrace all this food for a while! Then in January and February I will complain even more than ever about my fat tote and bad skin! Cheers to a wonderful season of total gluttony! Fuc* you Heiditje! Fuc* all of y'all! :-)

Wednesday 28 December 2005: Heidi and Viva Voce! Sarah doesn't even have to be in this pic, does she! Will you go to De Kreun for Hawai New Year's?

28 December 2005: Sarah goes on and on about Zita Swoon so Heidi thought it was time to do a little Viva Voce horn-tooting! http://www.vivavoce.com/
Viva Viva Voce! Heidi loves them badly! She just got a whole mess of vinyls that she'll surely tell you about when she has some more time. Sarah looks on and allows Heidi her moment with her beloved Viva Voce.

Heidi says (as Sarah imagines):
A picture tells a thousand stories...

Sarah says:
Heidi is so happy with all her new records. Too bad our gal H has a bad head-cold and sounds really stuffed up! She says it's the worse one in a long while! Luckily she can rest at home all day and listen to all her new records! If only I could be home watching my new In De Gloria DVDs or The Office DVDs or listening to my new Zita Swoon CD/DVD or the new Deus or Wilco or Radiohead live or Pink Floyd The Final Cut. There are so many things I could do if I were free. But alas, I am a caged bird today! Do you know why the caged bird sings? Yahoo! I get to sing tonight as it is Wednesday night, Greyn's rehearsal night.

Here's something for y'all if you don't know what to do yet for New Year's Eve. Support a good cause. The Kortrijk band Hawai (http://www.hawaimusic.be/) needs to raise money to record their next CD, which as far as I know, Greyn's drummer Filip Tanghe will be recording and mixing for them. So why not celebrate with Hawai at De Kreun in Bissegem (http://www.dekreun.be) and dance out the old year to bring in the new one!

See below for details:

Tuesday 27 December 2005: Heidi and Sarah get up to no good in Kortrijk and fondle a statue, frosty and santa all in one night and look up a skirt!

Heidi and Sarah meet the man of their deams in Kortrijk and give him a lick!
26 December: Heidi and Sarah are full of special guests today! They went into Kortrijk for the recording of the EEN program SAM http://195.0.110.36/sam/sam_detailpagina.cfm?id=94 , which will feature Unie der Zorgelozen tonight at around 21u. While out, they managed to lick a statue, grab Frosty's delicate parts and exhaust a Santa to sleep! They also saw straight up a stone dancing girl's skirt and Sarah looked straight into a sharks mouth earlier that day at Sea-Life. What a cosy day and night it was for Heidi and Sarah. Don't forget to check out SAM tonight on EEN! You can learn more about Unie der Zorgelozen on our link to it on the right column.

It's all smiles for Frosty above who gets felt up big time by Heidi and Sarah!
Heidi and Sarah put Santa straight to sleep. They hold him up with all their might.
Sarah almsot got eaten by this shark today! It was a real close call! Like the times she used to swim in her small pool at her childhood home and imagine that to torture her, her brothers put baby sharks in the pool. Flashbacks are scary mommy!
It's very dark up that skirt indeed but what a strange statue to have in the center of Kortrijk! She's not even wearing any underwear! Well, I never!!! She needs to doing something very fast about all that cellulite!

Heidi says:
More later... cosy night!

Sarah says:
Other than being up with major diareah at 4 am this morning probably due to the split-pea soup I had while out in Kortrijk last night, it was a lovely day and night! All Christmas references will stop as of now! Bahumbug! Vacation is over :-(!

Monday, December 26, 2005

Monday 26 December 2005: Heidi isn't around yet but in the meantime here are some gifts Sarah received. Can you guess her fave? Also, 3 generations...

Heidi: Het Zwin is a magnificent place! That's where I spent my day and it was good!

THREE GENERATIONS OF WOMEN! THEY DON'T LOOK ALIKE AT ALL!!!!
Above is a photo of Sarah's mom, Sarah's kid and Sarah. They are simply here to show you three generations of gals and how odd genetics can be! These three girls don't look anything like each other! In fact, they look like some Beneton add - one ruddy red-head, one pale blondy and one black-head! They don't even look like they are part of the same family! Sarah challenges you viewers to point out something, anything, that looks the same in these three girls!

Sarah says: I don't want to boast or anything but dang ditty dang did I get an amazing bunch of stuff!!!! Can you guess that the Zita Swoon Band in a Box CD/ DVD is my favorite present!!! I watched the DVD this morning and was mesmerized by Stef Kamil carlens and band once again!!!! I got the new Deus CD and Hooverphonic as well as two Pink Floyd CDs and some Wilco, Radiohead and others. I got In De Gloria, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Office and Bottom as well as Little House on the Prairie and Freaks and Geeks and others! I got Kolinistan and body gel and earings. And I got a great book: Post Secret! Check out http://www.postsecret.com!
Great great stuff!!!!!!

Newsflash from Sarah: I have watched 4 episodes of season 4 Curn Your Enthusiasm and am loving it! Larry David is sicker and more obsessed than ever before! I am also really enjoying the Zita Swoon CD of course and the Wilco live one! Both are great and you all should have them!

Heidi should check in here later!!! She'll post her photo from the 26th when she can!

Sunday 25 December 2005: Heidi and Sarah meet quickly on Christmas as Sarah shows off her Frida Khalo necklace from Heidi...

25 December: Heidi and Sarah say MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!

Saturday, December 24, 2005

Saturday 24 December 2005: Heidi and Sarah wish you all a happy and merry EVERYTHING!!!!!

24 December: Heidi and Sarah are ready to open all their presents and celebrate all day and all night!

Friday 23 December 2005: Heidi and Sarah yell out "surprise"! They also welcome special guest VR after a lovely Unie der Zorgelozen play!

HEIDI AND SARAH SAY SURPRISE ABOVE AND GET THAT TOTE AND MULLE!
BELOW THEY WELCOME THEIR SPECIAL VR GUEST FROM UNIE DER ZORGELOZEN!

23 December: Heidi and Sarah are surprised today! That's the word one of them yelled out as she snuck up on the other -- and this is the photo they got! The red and the green is in honor of Christmas of course. Heidi and Sarah went out last night right in their neighborhood to see "Et", a production by Unie der Zorgelozen (http://www.uniederzorgelozen.be). What a wonderful use of the Unie house! It was the fabulous backdrop to a performance that will be featured on eén on 28 December at 21u10 on the show "Sam". Check it out! Unie is doing such a good thing for the neighborhood and the neighborhood people. It's all very admirable what Unie der Zorgelozen are busy with! Heidi and Sarah's co-worker took part in the writing and performing of the production and is featured below as their special Face The Day guest! Heidi and Sarah have added Unie der Zorgelozen on there links on the right!

Heidi says:
Too busy to say anything!

Sarah says:
I love my neighborhood! I love it even more now that Unie are there doing great things!

Thursday 22 December 2005: It's raining again! Heid and Sarah welcome special guest Sarah's mom...

Below Heidi and Sarah welcome a special guest -- Sarah's mom from Miami. Do Sarah and her mother look alike at all? What genes have been passed on? Is Sarah's mom's hair really red? What is her real color hair? Does Heidi look more like Sarah's mom than Sarah does?

This is Belgium. It's almost Christmas, it is supposed to snow but what do our clouds do? They rain! Oh well, I guess you get used to it when you live here... Sarah has been here for over ten years and Heidi is a natural born kill... oops, belgian!
Heidi says: You get to see me in different situations this week! what a treat! ;) This is me after my morning bikeride to work. Fun fun fun!

Sarah says:
Man man man do I love having days off. Today I saw my buddy CC who is back from Russia for a bit. We did some shopping. We ate lunch. It was so very cosy! Then Heidi showed up in the evening and we went to a neighborhood play. You can read about that on Friday's entry. I have a great life! I am so very lucky. Great family. Great home. Great friends. Good job. Fabulous hobby. I really look forward to Saturday through Tuesday when I'll be on vacation and hanging out with a lot of family and friends!

Wednesday, December 21, 2005

Wednesday 21 December 2005: Sarah leaves Heidi alone again or...Sarah sneaks in later to say HI HEIDI!!!!

peek-a-boo Heiditje! I'm back. Just checking in on you. See you tomorrow I'm sure! :-)

... is it Heidi who has no time to visit Sarah? Or is it Sarah who has no time to visit Heidi?

Heidi Says: This is me when I have just woken up after a late night... Have I been drinking?

Sarah says:
Having time off is grand! Spending too much money though! I got the 4th season of Curb Your Enthusiasm today thanks to my dad, bro No and mother! Yee haw! It's time to watch Larry David go about his life once again! I can't wait to see what else my bro No gave me -- but I will wait till Saturday to open presents! I also bought The Office DVDs today! And Heiditje -- the Freaks and Geeks DVD sets arrived! :-)

Tuesday 20 December 2005: Heidi and Sarah are HAPPY!

20 December: The girls are happy! Today one yelled: "look like you're about to have a vacation!" - et voila! The above photo is the result! And it's true. Sarah will have a few days off as her mom comes to visit today and Heidi will have a few days off soon! This is just what Heidi and Sarah need and desire! Time to kick-back and relax!

Heidi says:
Holidays are coming! Holidays are coming! It's going to be so cosy!! I'll be home for three days after the weekend and will take full advantage of them! Hooray!
Hi-dee-ho-ho-ho!

Sarah says:
I plan to relax and be jolly and have fun and be happy for the next few days at home! :-) The above photo shows how I hope I'll be feeling. And loook JB -- I am not even wearing any black today!!!

Monday, December 19, 2005

Monday 19 December 2005: Heidi and Sarah are playing a game this week. As they take the photo, one yells out a word, the expressions follow and clic!

19 December: Today Sarah had to yell out a word. She started with the word "rough" but the photo didn't come out. Then another word. Still no photo. The last thing she yelled out was: "Fantasize about Stef Kamil Carlens!" - and hence the photo you see above! You must know that Sarah is the Stef Kamil Carlens fan -- Heidi can aprreciate him too but the look on Heidi's face has nothing to do with bad thoughts about Stef. She's got that look because she's laughing at Sarah and her silly little fantasy! Sarah on the other hand....

Heidi says:
jeezes...
I look like that a lot lately
I think something is wrong with me.
I'm angry most of the time, not feeling well in my skin... and you see it in my looks...

Sarah says:
My Stef Kamil Carlens fantasy is simply to be him! That's it. So the look you see on my face there is a reflection of my thinking about having his talents, his voice, his soft and lovely nature. You see, I saw a documentary on him on Canvas on Sunday and again, he just came off as such an amazing talent. What a voice! What great songs he has made and keeps making! What a creative and clever mind! What a nice person. What a good composer and director! I seriously dream of having some of what he has! And the things he said about losing band members is like a family member saying they are no longer part of the family and what he said about when he was with Tom Barman in Deus and they lived together and their whole life was the band basically. His enthusiasm. His respect of his bandmates. His stage presence. His clothes! All those things. Anyway -- now I sound obsessed and silly again!! But that's what you see on my face above! All of that and more! I want Stef Kamil Carlens to produce music I make one day! That's my real dream -- and to sit in like a fly-on-the-wall on Zita Swoon's rehearsals and watch their making of songs! I just want to see how that all goes.
I alos started to watch DIG this weekend. A documentary on two bands who are sort of friends but who are so very different but really want the same things. Every band wants an audience. No denying that. And there's the example of the band immersed in drugs and living together and making music all the time. There's also the other band that sort of makes it for a while but lacks that organic edge and seems to sell out. I think I long for more of an edge. To not be so adult and to go back to my party days and get drunk and high and let it come out in the music and on stage. But life isn't like that anymore and that formula wouldn't work for me at this point. But in some ways I envy it.Just letting loose and being so damn free. That's rock & roll!

Sunday 18 December 2005: Heidi and Sarah are yellow when they should be a Christmassy red and green...Liver problems or life problems?

18 December: Heidi is a reindeer with a floopy ear. Sarah is a bad, bad Santa. These girls are waiting for Christmas and holidays but not in great shape yet. Are they yellow with courage or are they suffering from liver problems? Heidi is in a rage because like Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer, Heidi has her own red problem. Red is the color of anger isn't it. Yellow is the color of pee-pee.

Heidi says:
Feeling like it's Sunday!

Sarah says:
If anyone denies the fact that I look bloated, pale, yellow, lopsided in the eyes and yucky in general in this photo, I will laugh! This is not just my disturbed mind playing the looking-glass self with myself -- no-sir-ee-bob! It's the truth, Ruth! And their ain't no denying it!

Saturday 17 December 2005: Sarah puts on some make-up and some pearls for once in a long while and Heidi puts on a hat and mushroom...

17 December: Sarah decides to put on a little face and spark up her head a bit with jewels -- she even wears some heels that night! Is this an attempt to look alive for once? Yeah, probably. In the winter it is especially easy to let one's self go you know. Heidi and Sarah have been feeling as if they have been looking a bit rough lately! But today they both look more alive than usual. Notice how Heidi's sweater matches her mushroom above.

Heidi says:
The perfect outfit for a night of King Kong! wroaaaaw! snf... snffffffff... wraaaaaaw WRAAAAAW!!!! snif..snfffffffff... humffff...

Sarah says:
Well there you go... Those jewels-- they come from my grandmother. Pretty, éh? I never wear such jewels anymore. In the past I would wear about 5 necklaces at once and a ring on every finger. They say that people hide behind jewels. Maybe that's what I was doing. Or maybe I was just being a peacock back then. Sometimes I miss all that effort I would make to look good. Mayeb it was because I didn't feel all that good about myself back then and now I feel better and know that it's not as much the outside as the inside that counts and all that... Who knows but it is indeed nice to throw on a little make up and a nice necklace every now and then! Check out my un-even eye-balls. That alone makes me a bit afraid to get contact lenses.

Friday 16 December 2005: Heidi and Sarah say oink oink, sniff, sniff, grrrr, grrrr and wish y'all a happy friday and good weekend.

16 December: Pigs! Pigs! Pigs! Heidi and Sarah are sick, stinking, dirty pigs! They eat dirt and poo it out as Truffles and the try to eat it again and sell it for 50 Euro a kilo. They'll blow your house down! They'll huff and they'll puff!

Heidi says:
Oink!

Sarah says:
Oink!

Heidi and Sarah wish you a lovely weekend and Sarah urges you to watch Canvas at 13u on this Sunday to see a documentary on Stef Kamil Carlens of Zita Swoon! That's what she'll be doing this weekend, as well as getting closer and closer to moving up to the attic!!! Yee haw! Will Heidi and Sarah meet this weekend or will they go at it all alone? Time will tell! Check back and see...

NEWSFLASH: okay, so I (Sarah) am stealing this poem from my cousin's wife's blogsite and posting it here. You can also get to her site and others by clicking on the links to your right! She, "Rebecca"(http://www.schamess.com/blogs/index.php) and also "Lisa" (http://www.lisaschamess.com/thetruthhurts.html) always have good things to say and are so well-read and well-written I admire them so and their blogs lead me to all sorts of eclectic and interesting things out there to know and discover... This poem is so pretty and makes me want to stop being a tumble bug and start being a caterpiller!

idle thought

paris september
fifth nineteen
twenty three
what i like
about this place
is that it is
such a nice
place to loaf in
and loafing
is the best thing
in life
nature shows
us that
a caterpillar
just eats and
loafs and sleeps
and after a while
without any effort
it turns into
a butterfly
with nothing to do
but flit around
and be beautiful
but consider
the industrious
tumble bug
the tumble bug
toils and plants
and sweats
and worries
pushing its burden
up hill forever
like sisyphus
and pretty soonsome one
comes along
and thinks how
vulgar and ugly
the thing is
and steps on it
and squashes it
idleness
and beauty
are their own
rewards
mehitabel the cat
is still missing

Thursday 15 December 2005: Heidi and Sarah are not very happy with their heads today, hence the photo below - a new view for ya'll.

15 December: Heidi and Sarah are saving face today. You'll just have to do with the parts they offer you above. It's not that they are proud. They are just bored with their faces. There's a whole lot more to these girls than their faces you know!

Heidi says:
ti*s!

Sarah says:
It's like Laurel and Hardy; Abbot and Costello, those two guys from Little Britian. Heidi and I have totally different body shapes. Do you know that I am about 10 sizes bigger than her-- that's right, 10!!! That ain't right! Maybe even more! She's like a 36 or even less and I'm a 46! Amazing. In the above photo it really shows, I'm afraid. I have always had close friends who were half my size -- most of them were a lot shorter than me. It always made me feel ugly as a teenager. That's not the case now that I am older and love myself more but it's wierd. I mean the grass is indeed always greener on the other side and I know as a large woman I really do long to be skinny and know I never will be. I just wish I could wear nicer clothes and wear them better and have them look better on me. Stupid petty things like that. I have much less of a problem with my body when I am not wearing clothes! I don't always feel fat -- not at all -- and half of feeling fat comes from big fat voices in my head leftover from long ago that will never go away. These days I feel too big. I always want to do something about it. I eat pretty well but I am lazy for sure when it comes to excercise -- especially now that I have stupid back pain half the time that hurts more when I move too much! I am being a wanker. Letting you too much into my head. But anyone who knows me knows this already so oh well, nothing new, blah, blah blah. This time of year is of course hard on the body with all that eating! Too much good stuff around! Anyway, time to shut these self-hateful thoughts down and pretend I love myself!

Wednesday 14 December 2005: Sleep child sleep... Heidi is broeder Jacob and Sarah is brother John. No morning bells ringing here. Just 2 ding-dongs...

14 January: Heidi and Sarah can't decide whether to recline and sleep or sit up and be awake. Isn't there a CD out with the very catchy title: "Asleep is the New Awake". Heidi and Sarah agree. After much useless discussion, they had to settle for two photos today rather than just one. Heidi is sleepy and Sarah is awake. Sarah ate brussels sprouts today so watch out. Maybe that's why she's grinning in one of the photos and Heidi is twitching her nose. Maybe she's letting out some hot air ;-))). Maybe Heidi is dead from it in that other photo. If you choose to live in Belgium, you'd better eat Brussels Sprouts often in the winter. If you live across from a church, you're gonna hear the bells I'm afraid...

Heidi says:
My eyes are stinging. I need sleep...

Sarah says:
This is my favorite joke ever:
"Why do farts stink?"
"So that deaf people can enjoy them also!"

Tuesday, December 13, 2005

Tuesday 13 January 2005: Heidi loses an eye whilst Sarah welcomes back an old pimple...One of those dreadful days we're afraid....

13 January: Tired. Worn-out. Dreadful day. Hard to move through it for these gals Heidi and Sarah. Like wading through a brick of low fog and smog. Heavy on the head. Hurtful to the eyes. Bad for the skin. Black boogers...

Heidi says:
The Editors are a good band! They proved that to me yesterday evening. The singer is a wild animal; with a savage but absent look he picks his victims in the audience, but remains undisturbed. I like that kind of poses in singers! They are actors, icons, freaks. The only negative thing about yesterday is that my ears are feeling bad today, like something is stuck in there and I will never get it out again. And the beeping is horrible!
Actually, it would be unfair of me not to mention the support bands for the Editors! First Apartment, a English band, with a too goodlooking singer and a as goodlooking guitarplayer (as I said before, I like it a little dirty) but they did sound ok. Second support band was We are scientists, a New York based band, with a hilarious bassplayer with moustache and funny glasses, a boyish singer with a great voice and a bearded drummer who could be a pedophile priest in the daytime... The result of those three freaks playing together is that typical mix you hear a lot nowadays, of punk, disco and rock (think Franz Ferdinand and Arctic Monkeys) but live, wowie, they are steaming!
Great night!

Sarah says:
I had the worst nightmare of my life last night and was up on and off since 2 am because of it – my last words to my family just before the building that had been blown up by terrorists landed on our roof smashing down was: "I love you we’re dead."
It was a really bad dream—I woke up unable to breath right and in a sweat.
Too many articles read about terrorism for teaching that class yesterday I guess!!
I am so so very tired!! My skin looks a wreck. My hair is flat as can be! Nonetheless - I feel good.

Monday, December 12, 2005

Monday 12 December 2005: Now Sarah is present but Heidi's gone missing -- but not for long, you can be sure. Sarah's in the middle of a blow-dry...

WHERE OH WHERE OH WHERE IS HEIDI? THERE WILL SADLY BE NO HEIDI TODAY!

12 December: Where's Heidi now that sarah has returned? Come back Heidi, come back!! Maybe Sarah and Heidi aren't buddies anymore. Maybe they will never meet again. Maybe they will meet tomorrow. Maybe maybe maybe...

Heidi says:
shall post picture later and talk to ya'll then...

Sarah says:

In that photo I am in the middle of blow-drying my hair with very hot heat and trying to keep my eyes open for you as they burn from the hot, dry air! For some reason, I look really tired and my make-up is all wrong! Maybe because I am really tired and to cover all the new zits that have popped up thanks to my period being here, I have gone a little heavy on the foundation I am afraid. I have a free afternoon after teaching Erasmus students this morning about America's position in the world right now. It was fun!! I LOVE students who like to talk and ask questions and who don't just listen and write everything down that you say. There's nothing like a good discussion! I learn so much from these students everytime! This afternoon I will clean up a lot of stuff that we need to get rid of before we move our bedrooms up to our attic! I am in the cleaning-mode! I can't wait to get rid of stuff. It's time! We all have way too much! I want to lessen my load and minimalise! It's a great thought but will it ever reazlly happen? I sort of doubt it! The way things work is that the minute you throw onething out. You get something else. Alas...

Sunday 11 December 2005: Heidi is not very healthy looking and Sarah is missing/missed - Sarah is back jack! See below ;-)

Sundays are great to recover from the weekend. Or to continue the weekend...

Heidi says: My weekend was very calm. I watched Citizen Kane and To Kill a Mockingbird, two absolute classic movies! And I visited my family! The picture behind me is from when I was 4 years old. My sister Nathalie was 6 and my brother Joris was 1. My parents were as old as I am now, 27! Amazing...

Howdy folks -- that's me Sarah, below! remember me!!!! Sunday was a good day of eating bagels and playing games but by the end of it I had my period and had eaten too much and felt sideways, scalped and upside down -- like in the below photo.

Saturday 10 December: It's almost christmas time! Which according to Sarah means buying new jeans and two shirts all for herself!!!

Hey there again--it's Sarah here , sneaking in. I just wanted to show you one new pair of jeans and a new shirt I just bought myself! Nice, eh! I want more!!! I wanna shop till I drop and have all new clothes. I can't say I am a big fan of this time of year and Christmas to be honest. All things are way too in your face begging you to buy them. I sort of long for the more simpler times. With that said, I surely can't deny that there are a million things that I want!!!

Christmas is coming! New year too! It is amazing how time flies. People say that it only gets worse when you are getting older. oh well, let it come! We have nothing to worry about. We have a great life, filled with love and friendship and nice family moments!

Heidi says: I have always loved Christmas. It's a family thing. It's cosy. There is something about Christmas that you cannot feel at any other day. It is feeling close to the people you love. (where are the mellow violins?)
I have always had too high expectations when it came to Christmas. My ideas for the ideal Christmas evening came from American movies. Maybe I should never have seen those movies. There was always 'too much' in those. Too many lights, too much food, too much cosiness, too many presents... So when I was a child, I thought that was how you had to celebrate Christmas. Although I really liked our little Christmas-party at home, I was never completely satisfied and felt like something was missing. It is only now, since I moved out and my whole live changed, that I realise how cosy these parties are every year. It's just eating together and being nice to each other (for a whole evening!) on a cold winter evening. I don't need much more than that in life...

Friday (thank God it's Friday!) 9 December 2005: Short

Hey -- it's Sarah here. The photo below was actually taken very early Saturday but it was still sort of Friday in my head as I was just out of my bed and all with major bed-head and mulle. Thankfully I could hide behind my newly purchased bagels. Since this photo has been taken, thouse bagels have of course been eaten. I love London! It was totally busy there and in my day but I love being there! Makes me mss New York really!

Contrary to what Sarah likes, I'll make this one short! Fill in your own comments please...

Thursday 8 December 2005: It's oh so quiet!

It's oh so quiet, because Sarah left for London. She is wandering through the streets of London, searching for bagels and Lush-products. She is a beautiful stranger, singing in the rain. I wish you were here, Sarah!

(quiz: send us the songtitles you recognise in the above lines) :))

7 December 2005 Heidi kills Sarah with her bare hands... it's over

... No worries! Sarah and Heidi are as playful as always! They are too warm and then too cold and then too warm again and that makes them maaaaaaaaaaad!

Heidi says: Kill pussycat kill kill!

Sarah says:
Heidi has never been this scary. Help me mommy. See that blood on her nails? That's my blood. Blood straight from my heart. She's draining the blood and the life out of me. By Friday I will be gone. No more me here. I'll be back soon after. Will Heidi miss me? No, because she'll still have my blood to feed on. Sicko that she is.

Tuesday 06 December 2005: They are coming to take Heidi and Sarah away...

06 December: Heidi and Sarah hear voices in their heads. They have shifty-eyes. They are on the lookout for no good and evil. They trust nobody. They must watch each other's back.

Heidi says:
We don't trust you! We are scared! We are softies! (look at the pink of my Viva Voce-shirt!)

Sarah says:
Shhh -- the voices in my head are getting closer. I can hear them coming. I can see them everywhere...

Monday 05 December 2005: Sarah and Heidi come out of the porn closet...don't ask..

05 December: Sarah has got a new inherited closet with mirrors everywhere to stand in her new lovely purple roomy room! Heidi and Sarah try out the mirrors for size. The mirrors like them and they like the mirrors. If only it were the 1980s, New York City and we were all into cocaine running around our brains...

Heidi says:
Tired, tired, tired...

Sarah says:
Okay-- I like to see photos of myself as much as I hate to but all those mirrors and in my bedroom no less! Not sure if I'm gonna like that very much. I guess it will all depend on the angle. I was thinking about putting colored plex squares all over the mirror to add some brightness and get rid of some reflection. Any other suggestions? Feel free...

Sunday 04 December 2005: Sarah falls into a deep sleep and Heidi? Heidi will report to ya'll later...

04 December: Sarah begins her long hibernation for the winter months and Heidi will tell you what she got up to later. These two gals did not meet once this weekend, which is a rare thing. Today they will have to make up for it.

Heidi says:
Meet Gabrielle! Isn't she very goodlooking and sparkling? And she's a good dancer on top of that!
I had a very inspiring Sunday, I must say. Dj'ing with a glass of champaign in my one hand, and a record in my other hand, then later dancing on the music of Mademoiselle Jean, and later later (batter batter) eating MacDonalds (only fish thank you) . Tiring but inspiring!

Sarah says:
I have to share this awful thing I saw!!!! I was at Delhaize Saturday late afternoon and there was this man with 5 kids all very young and all very loud. It looked like a middle-class family. Nice clothes. The father was maybe 40 years old. Anyway – the damn ignorant arse saw two dark black men two aisles over. He pointed to them and said to his kids in Dutch: “Look kids, there’s Black Piet”. The two black men were pretty surprised by this comment. One answered with a laugh that he wasn’t the real one. But everyone seemed quite disturbed by this stupid, ignorant and racist comment? I watched the two black men discussing it, laughing off the man’s total disregard. The cashier I was paying, gave me eye-contact that said “oh my god did you hear that!!!” But then to make it worse, the guy told his kid I had so much food on the conveyer belt because I was a fat women! I was speechless. The cashier looked again appalled. I couldn’t say anything. My Dutch couldn’t be fast enough. If I had found the words I would have said something like “it’s enough that you are a total, stupid, ignorant, racist arsehole, but do you really have to teach your 5 children that you MORON! Anyway – it was more surprising than anything else because he had all these kids and you just hope that people teach their kids to be better people and good people! Now there may be 5 arsehole kids out there no thanks to their dad who will grow into arsehole adults and have their own kids whom they’ll teach the same bad stuff to! No doubt one or two of them will see the light and grow up being totally ashamed of their dumb-ass father and they’ll rebel and leave home early and have a lot of anger and become artists or suicide victims. Anyway – other than that, I had a great, great weekend!

Saturday 03 December 2005: Sarah looks drunk and hot and sweaty and Heidi, well Heidi will be with us later...

03 December: Saturday passed fine and dandy. Not much to report.

Heidi says:
Yes yes, I know, again the same special guest. You know why that is? Cause I spend a lot of time with this boy... Fun fun fun!

Sarah says:
Why am I so red and hot and sweaty and flushed looking in that photo? I really can't remember why? Seriously? What was I doing in there? What went on? I don't even remember taking that photo! Strange, very strange indeed. What I do remember is that it was a whole lot of fun weekend with way too much eating. Not enough sleeping. And lots of seeing people and having fun and talking a lot and celebrating Sinterklaas with the kid! I think I was happy when I took this photo. Do you like my new stripey shirt? I always though horizontal stripes were a no-no for large people -- that they made you look fatter. But this shirt didn't do that to me happily. So the theory could be wrong! And to think that all these years I avoided stripes! I shall embrace stripes from now on.

Friday 02 December 2005: Sarah had her eyebrows done by a new person today and Heidi had a facial last night. So far so good...

02 December: Heidi and Sarah have been beautician hopping! Ever since CK left, they have had to find a new special person to work on their mulles and totes. Now they have two to choose from, lucky them! Sarah's face is all red and warm and pimply as usual (when it's not pale and cold and pimply) and Heidi's pores have been squeezed out and Sarah's eyebrows plucked this time by Ann Verduyn at http://www.botee.be
Sarah and Heidi also remain fans of Isabel at Bellissima and congratulate her on her new baby!!!

Heidi says:
Sarah says I have a mysterious look in this picture. Something with the eyes. I only see a ugly head. Or how you can view yourself differently than someone else...

Sarah says:
Here's the name poem that CK asked for a while back finally:

C = cheerful
H = hides age lines and pimples very well
E = eager to make people feel and look good
R = really young and good looking for her age!
Y = yippy! We'll see her next year!
L = Lovely lady your are missed!

Have a good weekend! I wish I could sleep for the next 72 hours at least! You like my eyebrows?

Thursday 01 December 2005: Heidi and Sarah say google boogle bagga bloogy bliggy piggy poogy to yougy today this 1st day of the last month of the year

01 December: Heidi and Sarah wanna put a whoopie-cushion under your arse and hear you fart. They wanna put your hand in warm water as you sleep so you pee in your bed. They want to put a string on your door so that when you open it water falls on your head. They want to say Boo! Boo! Boo! and scare the poo poo out of you. They want to hang upside down like monkeys and say nah nah nah nah nah as you pass them by. They want to throw a pie in your face. They want to put hot pepper on your tooth brush.

Heidi says:
I feel sad today. I feel melancholic. I feel lost.
Can somebody help me?

NEWSFLASH!
Heidi is having a facial this evening at 7:45! "I'm feeling better already"

I keep on singing a Decemberists song out loud, and I cannot stop myself. I think it is a perfect popsong and I want to share it with you (also because Sarah is getting sick of me singing this song all the time and maybe this is a way to get it out of my head a bit). Here are the lyrics! Do search the song on the internet and listen to it, or buy the PDX pop CD at music Millennium (www.musicmillennium.com/) and discover all that great Portland music! By the way, I saw the Decemberists play last night, and they were good but a bit too folky for me (I like dirt!). This beautiful lovesong however, stole my heart forever!

From my own true love (lost at sea)
Four score years living down in this rainswept town
see-saw turns, swimming round as the rain comes down.

Mister Postman, do you have a letter for me?
Mister Postman, do you have a letter for me, a letter for me?
From my own true love, lost at sea... lost at sea.

thank you for listening!
