Didn't like that one much. Sure, it had great cinematography and acting and presented America exactly as it is. But the story just ended for no good reason. It might get points for being different, but I didn't find it different in a rewarding way. It seemed to end just for the sake of being non-conventional storytelling, not for any more meaningful purpose. I just found it disappointing to be left pointlessly hanging. But I'm glad you enjoyed it, Heidi, and that now you know precisely what the Rio Grande country of America was really like in that era. To each his own, unless you're being stalked by Javier Bardem.

So what do you like, Mr Roger N Ebert?

The Departed is the best movie I've seen in years. You should borrow it from Sarah. And let's not forget Cabin Boy.

I think one of the best movies ever is Lucia y el sexo. Also Bleu, La double vie de Veronique, Le fabuleux destin d'Amelie Poulain, Todo sobre mi madre, C'est arrivé près de chez vous, Le vélo de Ghislain Lambert, and Festen.
