But alas, time isn't like that and I can manage about one series at a time and then I get obsessed and have to see it through until the end if it is readily available to me. Plus, Marv and I choose series differently and rarely sit down to watch stuff together apart from the week here and there where we have marathons and maybe one to three nights any other given week. I don't enjoy watching stuff alone really so I choose to watch with Marv. Marv is much less of a TV-DVD head than I am. So as much as I would really love to watch everything all the time, time just doesn't allow that. So don't take it personally anyone out there who has ever lent me a DVD that I haven't watched yet. I do get around to all of them eventually - but eventually can mean a year indeed. I know that seems crazy but that's a fact. In the meantime, yes, some tension happens because a year can go by and I'm not there yet - but there are no power plays, no meant-to-be-plans - it's just the way it is. So anyone who isn't comfortable with that, please don't lend me anything or send me anything ever again because as much as it may not be fun or nice for you that we haven't watched something yet, it's also not fun or nice to be under pressure knowing I am disappointing those who are waiting for me to watch stuff... So again, nothing personal in it all and this whole thing feels rather petty and silly right now... But with that said, sorry if I have annoyed anyone from NSM to ASG to whomever with my own viewing manners. I hope the discussion ends here or goes private ...Heidi and Sarah Face The Dayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13874278538661703160noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15964296.post-71487343617275510132008-01-06T10:21:00.000-05:002008-01-06T10:21:00.000-05:00Seriously Sarah - don't bother. At this point it feels delibrate like some kind of power play between us and I just want out. We're just not compatiable swappers. I've come to terms with that. I shant darken your conscious again about it. Just return the stuff and we'll pretend it never happened.<BR/>ASGAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15964296.post-33994436669158687902008-01-06T06:46:00.000-05:002008-01-06T06:46:00.000-05:00-----IPVPOY! I was hoping you'd find parallels to The Wire (the 5th season of which begins tomorrow night, BTW). Coming Home actually has some parallels to The Wire too, come to think of it, in terms of complex characters who can't easily be labelled good or bad. Awaiting your critique of CH, and, again, IPVPOY on TD.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
